This CD presentation is designed to help medical and nursing staff in all aspects of organ donation, including the diagnosis of death by brain stem testing and donor management.

We hope it will be a useful tool to use at the bedside to compliment the help and assistance which is given by the procurement transplant co-ordinator and other members of the transplant team.

It is not however, a substitute for transplant co-ordinator input, and early referral to the on-call co-ordinator is still a necessary adjunct to successful outcome of organ donation and transplantation.
